Through the Thought Leaders Forums provided to the community at large and to employees in their offices, CBRIC promotes the why and how of continuous innovation in their businesses and workplaces and create this Spirit of Continuous Innovation. The Thought Leaders Forum is a way to harness the top minds in our area to address challenges and opportunities in the community as a community. The Thought Leaders Forum will be a recurring series of forums. The Thought Leaders Forum will take shape in the way the Core Team decides for it to do so. The bottom line is we do wish to make good things happen in both the business community and the general population.
The word “innovation” is on its way to being overused and misused. Simply put, innovation is nothing more than change in a positive direction. It is applicable to all individuals, businesses, products, services, organizations and more. CBRIC’s mandate is to create and maintain a culture for employees and employers to recognize, understand and embrace innovation as not only a part of everyday life but also a source of advancement in their work and even personal life.
Another equally important part of creating this spirit of continuous innovation is documentation. What works and what didn’t work, causes and effects, objectives served and new objectives found are important information that will be useful to reference in the future – so that we don’t essentially try to reinvent the wheel.
